ACTIVATE IDEAS IN MOTION
TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages.
Ted Talks mission is simply to spread ideas. In May of 2016, TEDx had their conference at Soldier and Sailors Memorial Hall in Oakland and wanted to spread those ideas to the rest of the world in real time.
CNR Studios provided a multi-camera live production with powerpoint integration, that was broadcasted to a custom event page and various social media outlets. We worked closely with their audio visual team to integrate the live audio into the broadcast and to send video signal to the auditorium projectors.
The end product is a high-quality, live webcast and archive that spread ideas around the world. Each speaker was cut into individual segments, uploaded and properly optimized for search engines.
